Our Papier Mache Astronaut

Last week we had Art week. Which is literally just full on art projects. Like in room 12 we built an Astronaut and a X-wing from star wars as shown on the right. We made it using chicken wire, lots of newspaper and paint. For the first layer we molded chicken wire round me for the base shape. Then covered the wire in newspaper, after the first layer we used white paper to make it easier to paint. Then we looked at astronauts on the internet, then painted it details on it.  

Grizzly Bear!!!!!

                                                                            For this post we were told to pick a piece of artwork from another class. So being me I chose the bear head trophy's from room 9. Because 1. I like bears especially grizzly bears and 2. I find it really cool the way they put it together. Just by looking at it it's like you could just slide all the pieces out. Some people even did Moose's instead of bears, but every trophy has a different pattern/material on it like the one on the left is blue with white polka-dots.
